Each of the 12 Theme and Variation Lectures (available for download below) is designed to correspond to one of the chapters of Personality: A Systems Approach. The Theme and Variation lectures mark out the middle ground between Standard Lectures (which follow the text closely) and Overview and Focus lectures, which allow for a great deal of flexibility, but may provide a bit less continuity.
Each Theme and Variation lecture opens with a comparison between the major sections of the textbook chapter, and the topics actually dealt with in the lecture. It then goes on with its coverage from there, spannning an interconnected group of topics that (typically), both overlap with the text, and present variations on it, in terms of emphasis and coverage.
Below, find the Powerpoint Lectures ready for downloading. Each lecture is intended to fill one week of a course (e.g., 3 hours of in-class lecture). Please feel free to download them and employ them as needed in preparing for the course.
